India Centre Logo

This logo was created for the India Centre, that is based at the University for Southampton. They got in touch with us to refresh their existing look and sent some suggestions. Being a part of the University, they wanted to demonstrate the link within the design, along with something that represents the centre, without being stereotypical.

Prestigious, excellence and culture were a few of the key values, and in doing some research I came up with the icon. It uses the shape of the lotus, the peacock feather design, and a selection of bright colours from the existing university palette.

The font has been customised, giving it a clean, modern feel which compliments the University of Southampton logo.
